Our Story
From mandate to movement.
May 2023
The RIZON brand launches at ACT Expo. The first RIZON truck is unveiled to the North American commercial fleet market.
Late 2023
The first RIZON trucks hit the streets in North America, beginning real-world fleet deployments as a Daimler / FUSO company.
2025
State ZEV mandates take hold. CARB ACF in California and parallel programs in other states push fleets of 50+ vehicles into compliance. The urgency becomes real.
2026
Daimler and Toyota form Archion, a new public commercial vehicle company combining FUSO and Hino. Rizon continues under the new platform.
Now
A proven, reliable platform with hundreds of RIZON vehicles on the road across North America — serving municipal fleets, utilities, water districts, school districts, and private operators.
Leadership
The team behind the transition.
Alex leads RIZON USA and is one of the most recognized voices in the North American commercial EV market. With deep roots in automotive engineering — spanning ADAS, autonomous driving, connectivity, and HMI — he brings rare technical depth and commercial leadership to the Rizon platform.
A 15+ year veteran of the zero-emission vehicle and infrastructure industry. Prior leadership at Hyzon Motors, Zeus Electric Chassis, SEA Electric, and ETIN. At Rizon, he leads commercial operations and drives fleet relationships across the region.
